Worksheet # 2 : Right or wrong?

In every situation, each person is suffering from a stress or a strain. Carefully read each person’s ergonomic solution and choose right if their solution matches their pain, or choose wrong if their solution mismatches or misses to relieve their pain.


1. Kyle felt a symptoms of carpal tunnel after more than 3 hours, hand writing page long memos. To fix his pain, he decided to buy an ergonomic chair with special support for lower back pain.

2. Leo realized a strong, throbbing headache, while leading a whole day tour across a desert, in the burning sun and heat, with only 2 sips of water and no hat or sunglasses. He decide to borrow his friend’s sun hat, and bought a pack of 12 water bottles.

3. Cole suddenly felt a tough neck strain, after 2 nights straight, using a brand new ergonomic pillow. To relieve his night pain, he decided to buy another ergonomic pillow for added support for his neck.

4. Jake discovered a long pain extending from his shoulders through his arms, after full 7 day week of carrying heavy, airport luggage. He came up with a solution to buy a mechanical device he can drive around, that has storage for the loads (suitcase), and allows him to travel quickly from place to place around the airport.

5. Devin found he had terrible, enormous psychological pressure, after he earned his new promotion, because of the 5 projects and reports he had to finish in 1 day. Later in the day, Devin decided to quit his job, and create a “comfortable” schedule that suits him.

6. Lisa felt a dash of immediate back pain, after a 5 day weekend, lounging on her couch in, what she thought, was “flexible” positions. The next weekend, she decided to take occasional stretches and short breaks from watching long hours of television marathons.

7. Frank had a sudden accident in his workplace, breaking his ankle, slipping, attempting to lift up heavy, cardboard box. During weeks of recovering from his injury, he decided to buy soft, comfortable gloves, to provide extra support to his hands while lifting objects.

8. One day, Will, an average 20 year old man, discovered a long, piercing pain in his neck extending down his upper back. He continuously searched for the cause of his pains, but he still couldn’t identify where it was stemming from, so, he decided to buy as many ergonomic products, for his home and office, that he could find.

9. Ariana discovered a numbing, lack of circulation feeling in her thighs, and strains on her fingers and hands after driving her friends, a full 6 hours, from Toronto to Montreal. For the ride back to Toronto, Ariana purchased a comfortable and wide padding for her seat to increase circulation and comfort, and found an ergonomic steering wheel that can reduce strain and stresses in her fingers and hands from long hours of gripping.
