Socially, automation has changed a lot. Like the following:
  • It made people more dependent on the latest equipment and electronics
  • Less people are needed to work in factories
  • Machines replaced human labour
  • Limited face to face contact with people. (e.g your friend the bank teller, transformed to an A.T.M)

Economically, as well:
  • more mechanics needed because the demand of machines
  • Increased profit margin
  • people that may have been factories workers or bank teller could be un-employed
  • People pay less for goods because of the mass production of it.

As well as "Environmentally":

  • You create pollution when using it because of the energy needed
  • You create pollution when making the automation
  • When it breaks you have to dump to the landfill
