Forces:
A force is a push or pull acting upon an object as a result of its interaction with another object.

There are two main types of forces:
A) Contact force
B) Action at a distance

Contact Forces,
Have to touch the object they push or pull.
A common contact force is friction.
The force of friction is one that opposes the motion of an object.

Action at a distance,
These forces can push or pull something without touching it.

Examples of this force are gravitational, static electricity and magnetic.
The most common of these forces is gravity. This is the attraction between two
objects due to their mass.

An influence measured by newtons,
A force is used to change the velocity of an object's mass,
One newton is approximately equal to the force you would exert to hold up a baseball.

Units of force
The metric unit for force is a newton (N), Since weight is the force of gravity it is measured in newtons (N).

Measuring Force
Most meters that measure force contain a spring or elastic component that stretches or compresses when
a force is applied.the most common force is called a newton gauge or spring scale. A spring scale consists
of a spring with a hook on the end.

Mass and Weight
Once the force is identified, we need to measure the amount of force.
but before that you need to know the difference between mass and weight.

MASS
Is the amount of matter in an object, the mass of a bowling ball is greater than the mass of a tennis ball, as it takes up more space.
the metric unit for mass is the kilogram, smaller masses are measured using a smaller unit known as a gram.
there are 1000 grams in a kilogram, so the mass of 1 litre is 1000 grams. Since mass is how much space you take up,
gravity has no effect on your mass. if your mass here is 50 kilograms then in space your mass is still 50 kilograms. (plus a spacesuit [Bulky])
This is because your body does not change proportions just because you are in SPAAAAAaaaAAAAAaaaAAACE (Portal 2 Reference)

Weight
Is the amount of force on an object due to gravity. Therefore weight is the force of gravity, If you went to the moon your weight would change because,
there is less gravity on the moon than on the earth. the gravity on the earth is six times stronger than on the moon, this means that you weigh six times
less on the moon than you do here.
