Elliot's class one lever
Elliot's class 2 lever
Elliot's class 3 levers
Their are the classes of levers. the class 1 lever, class 2 lever and class 3 lever.
People use levers to make stuff easier to lift.
When a load arm is shorter than the effort arm the ideal mechanical advantage will always be more than one.
When the fulcrum is in the exact middle between the two arms the ideal mechanical advantage is 1.
When the load arm is longer than the effort arm the ideal mechanical advantage is less than one.
