Mass production is a system in which an employee preforms the same task as an item moves on a ramp or conveyor belt. An example of this would be called an assembly line. In a factory, most of the time to increase production an assembly line is set up where workers stand and preform their task. Every worker on the line has to complete the small task.

An example of an assembly line could be a food assembly line. Workers stand at the conveyor belt. Their job would be to inspect the food to be sure there are no flaws or to be sure it is not a bad piece. Workers also may take down notes regarding the product.

Another example would be a car manufacturing line. This is where the big car parts are slowly moved on a track. The workers add the piece needed on the car part. They repeat the job. For example one worker may have the job to add in the engine. They take the pieces required and add it on the car so it can be ready for the next station.
