force is a push or a pull upon an object resulting from the object's interaction with another object. Whenever there is an interaction between two objects, there is a force upon each of the objects. When the interaction ceases, the two objects no longer experience the force. Forces onlyexist as a result of an interaction.
There are many types of different forces such as:
Frictional force
gravitational force
magnetic force
spring force etc ....

The unit we use to measure forces is called Newtons. Newtons are named after sir Isaac Newton one of the most famous scientists to ever walk the earth. He was the person who fist found out about gravity, he figured out that gravity is pulling 1 kg with the force of about 9.8 N. one of the common ways to measure Newtons is a spring scale. a spring scale has two sides one in Newtons (or N) and one in grams. To use the spring scale you would hang the object off the bottom and look at the reading that the scale gives you.
It is a simple yet useful tool.
the difference between mass and weight is that mass is the amount of matter in the object and is measured in grams or kilograms,
weight is the force of gravity acting upon that object. Weight is measured in newtons.
newtons is measured using a scale while mass is measured using a balance.
