The Inclined Plane works the same way as the lever. Its distance vs force. But in this case, the greater distance the ramp is the less force you have to use yourself to push or pull the object to the top. The lever will always have a closer mechanical advantage to the ideal mechanical advantage because the object or load is not moving. The object or load on The Inclined Plane is moving so that create friction which needs more force to push or pull the load up.
