For example, we see cars when we go to school, we see trucks taking load to different places, we see people riding motorcycles, we use the microwave almost everyday, we see door stops, and if you did not know even a road can be a machine! Machines may not be what you think they are. Most people think machines are very complex with a thousand parts in them. But, machines can be the exact opposite of what you think. Some machines are so simple that you may not even notice that they are even machines! You have even maybe made one but still not noticed that it was a machine. This is the beauty of machines! They can be so simple but very efficient. So what machines do is make work easier for us humans. For example if you wanted to lift a heavy object 3 meters high a machine would make that easier for you! Out of all the machines in the world, there a six machines that are the main machines. These machines are the main machines because all other machines are made from these main machines but they are modified into a new machine. These main machines are also called "Simple Machines". These six different machines are:

The Wheel And Axel
The Wedge
The Pulley
