Class 1 Lever has

The pivot or the fulcrum in the middle of the load and the effort

If the load arm or the effort arm are the same length the mechanical advantage is equal to 1

The load arm and effort arm are always on the opposite sides on the first class levers

There is a little friction in the middle of the pivot or fulcrum and the bar

The closer the fulcrum or pivot is to the load, the load is eaier to lift

Ideal mechanical advantage is more than 1 when the effort arm is bigger than the load arm

The IMA is equal to one when the pivot or fulcrum is in the middle of the effort and the load

The IMA is less than 1 when the load arm is longer or bigger than the effort arm
