What is Mechanical Efficiency?

Mechanical Efficiency is used to measure the efficiency of it changing the input to output. Mechanical Efficiency can never be 100% though. This is because of Friction.
Friction is the force resisting the relative motion of solid surfaces. We use a formula to find out the Mechanical Efficiency. This tells us how effiecient the machine is. By finding this out we can find out which machine is the best to use.

FORMULA:

Mechanical Efficiency=
Work Output x100%
Work Input
